EIT Health invites you to join the heartbeat of healthtech in Munich this June

On 5-6 June 2024, the third annual health.tech conference, powered by Bits & Pretzels, will take place at the International Congress Center Messe (ICM) in Munich. 

EIT Health and our Partner, Roche, are founding partners of this dynamic annual event which puts healthtech start-ups at its core.

The event unites Europe’s brightest minds in healthtech. Join us as we bring together over 3 500 healthtech start-up founders, investors, healthcare providers, and corporate executives to advance the healthcare ecosystem through new alliances, technology, and entrepreneurship.

EIT Health Stage

The EIT Health stage is the place to gain pan-European perspectives on ground-breaking projects and opportunities in the global healthtech ecosystem. We invite you to attend exciting panel discussions on future skills and skills gaps at start-ups and investment funds and how we can bridge that gap, how to implement the European Health Data Space at national and European level based on EIT Health’s latest Think Tank report, with real case examples, and a session on methodologies to evaluate medical digital devices in context of HTA regulation. There will also be deep dive sessions on what it takes to be an investor in the healthcare sector, and green transitions for the healthcare systems.

We will also be introducing you to EIT Health’s DIGInnovation Programme, part of EIT Health’s 2024 Flagship Call, which selects the top digital health micro and small enterprises and links them with international entities to create a consortium that will improve healthcare systems by accelerating the uptake of digital health apps by healthcare professionals and patients, and expediting market launch of the innovation while easing the reimbursement process. The DIGInnovation Programme opens for applications on 6 June 2024, and is a great opportunity for a start-up to get the funding.

EIT Health Catapult finals

Once again, the EIT Health Catapult finals will take place at health.tech.

The Catapult programme boosts the development of European health start-ups by exposing them to leading experts and international investors. Winners often go on to achieve impressive growth. For example, deepeye, last year’s Digital Health winner, received a EUR 2.5M investment in November, and Surge, one of last year’s Digital Health finalists, recently raised EUR 7.5M following its second round of funding.

Join us on 6 June to see nine finalists from life sciences and healthtech compete on the main stage. The twenty semi-finalists are also invited to the final where they have the opportunity to pitch on a side stage and still have an opportunity of being awarded some of the Catapult Industry Partners’ prizes.
